Our Steph managed to sneak into the Canadian embassy to celebrate on what is technically home-turf, and look who she ran into! Oh hey, C-1 1000m sprint canoeist Mark Oldershaw, how are you feeling this fine eve? That’s a pretty necklace.

…and the pièce de résistance, the height of excitement: our own Stephanie Niven wears one of her countrymen – no – lady’s (Gillian Carleton) hard earned cycling medal. So Ms. Niven, How does it feel to wear an artefact of pure Canadian national pride? “It’s really heavy.” Heavy indeed.
