Cut Bar

Set within the Young Vic, Cut Bar is London's most popular theatre bar and restaurant. Spread over two floors, the stylish, buzzy bar and open-air terrace host an eclectic crowd of theatre-goers, artists, suits and locals.

What they Wanted

Propeller was tasked to deliver a website that would present the Cut as a destination beyond the theatre within which it was located.

What Propeller Delivered

Without a distinct web presence, the newly opened Cut Bar was struggling to establish itself as a stand-alone venue. Propeller created an edgy website that presents Cut Bar as a destination bar. To maximise the bar’s potential to generate revenue, Propeller’s design incorporated interactive floor-plans, enabling the bar to capture events bookings. The innovative ‘Cut The Queue’ functionality encourages customer interaction, as well as adding value to the website.

Result

The new website is a fantastic extension of the Cut Bar brand identity, and successfully presents the restaurant and bar as part of the vibrant atmosphere surrounding the Young Vic, but also as a venue worthy of consideration on its own merits.
